How do you make it?

Remove the lemon slices from the jar and place them in hot water.
Preheat the oven to 160°C (electric) or 145°C (fan).
Empty the contents of the jar into a bowl and add eggs, melted butter and a pinch of salt. Mix until you have a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into a greased baking tin and bake for 50–65 minutes.
Decorate the cake with the lemon slices.
