How do you make it?

  1. Preheat the oven (electric 175°C, fan 160°C).
  2. Beat the eggs with the butter.
  3. Add the contents of the bottle and a pinch of salt, then mix until well combined.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a greased or lined cake tin.
  5. Place the tin in the middle of the oven and bake for 60–70 minutes.
  6. Test with a skewer: if it comes out with batter, bake a little longer. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready!

self-raising flour (WHEAT flour, E500, E503, E450), cane sugar, dried apple pieces (7%) and cinnamon (0.8%)

melted butter, egg and a pinch of salt

Serving tip

Still have an apple in the house? Cut it into thin slices and place it on the cake as a garnish. That makes it complete!
