Drinking coffee all day | The story of Jinow

Jinow has been working at the Pineut Production House at Stroomopwaarts for over three years. During that time, he has seen many products pass by and now knows the work inside out. He talks about his job, his favorite product, and what he would do if he were the boss of Pineut for a day.

What was your first day at Pineut like?

My first working day was quite a long time ago, so I don’t remember exactly how it felt. What I do know is that I have always felt welcome here. We work with a friendly team, and that makes it enjoyable to work here.

What do you enjoy most about working at Pineut?

Weighing! I mainly weigh all the ingredients so that the exact right amount goes into each product. You have to work very precisely for that. Because I’ve been working here for a long time, I also know a lot about the products. I know almost all Pineut products by heart.

What is your favorite product?

Anything with coffee in it. For example, the liqueur with coffee beans that we’ve often made. When you work with coffee beans, it immediately smells really nice in the production house.

Did you know? One of our first products was this coffee liqueur: “strong brew.”

What would you do if you were the boss of Pineut for a day?

Then I would eat lots of chocolate and drink lots of coffee all day. Those are really my two favorites!
