How do you make it?

  1. Start by adding your favourite gin. Make sure it contains at least 30% alcohol. Write the bottling date and the type of gin on the label. We recommend using a gin you already enjoy – you’ll be amazed at how its flavour transforms.
  3. Once filled, store your bottle in a cool, dark place. The oak chips will gradually release their smooth flavour and warm amber colour. Taste it from time to time to follow how the flavours develop. The process usually takes around eight weeks, but you can experiment by letting it mature for longer.
  5. After eight weeks, your barrel-aged gin is ready to enjoy. Filter it, or pour carefully, to ensure no wood chips end up in your glass. And remember – never eat the wood chips.
