How do you make it?

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (electric) or 160°C (fan).
  2. Whisk the eggs with the butter, then add the contents of the bottle and a pinch of salt. Mix well until combined and spoon into a greased or lined cake tin.
  3. Bake in the centre of the oven for 60–70 minutes. Test with a skewer: if it comes out with batter, bake a little longer; if it comes out clean, your cake is ready!

self-raising flour (WHEAT flour, E500, E503, E450), cane sugar, dried apple pieces (7%) and cinnamon (0.8%)

melted butter, egg and a pinch of salt

Serving suggestion

Still have an apple in the house? Cut it into thin slices and place it on the cake as a garnish. That makes it complete!
